Hello, Rotarians!

Rotary is famously non-religious and non-political; this allows us access to places and people that many other organisations can't access. With that said, I know that we have all been inundated with political advertising. Now that that is over, I hope you can take this time to relate and connect with your neighbors, coworkers, and fellow Rotarians. The personal connections are a big part of what makes Rotary the amazing organization it is.

This Sunday is our new member orientation. I hope you can make it, even if you are not a new member. And the Chiefs game should be over in time.

We have 2 volunteer options coming up: one with the Veterans Day parade and one with the Flint Hills Balloon Festival.

Travis Geopfert, K-State Track and Field coach
In his second year at the helm, Geopfert was named the USTFCCCA Midwest Men's Coach of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons with a total of three national champions and eight Big 12 champions.
2 great volunteer Opportunities
The Veterans Day parade is on Wednesday the 11th. They need some help with people at the barriers. Arrival time is 9:15, and you will finish up around 11:00. Here is the link to sign up, and if you have any questions, message me.

The second opportunity is the Flint Hills Balloon Festival. They need some help on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th. This is going to be a really fun event. Here is the link to sign up.  https://tinyurl.com/9b4nekxb

These are not Rotary events, just opportunities to help with local events and to wear your Rotary Swag.
