We’re in for a treat this week as our own Trent Armbrust, past president of our club, joins us to share the latest news from the KSU Foundation. Trent was recently elected to the KSU Foundation Board of Trustees. I hope you’ll join us to catch up with Trent and hear about the Foundation’s work.
Our monthly board meeting is also this week. If you have an item you’d like added to the agenda, please let me know as soon as possible so we can include it.
We’re also planning to update our club flag and would love to put our members’ creativity to work! If you’re interested in designing the new flag, please reach out to me or another board member.
Thank you for all you do for Manhattan Konza Rotary. I look forward to seeing you this week!
Trent Armbrust
KSU Foundation
Trent is a past president of our club and was newly elected to the KSU Foundation Board of Trustees. I am looking forward to hearing what is happening with the Foundation.
District Conference is on October 23rd and 24th here in Manhattan
If you have been to a district conference in the past, you know how amazing it can be. This year, our very own Michelle Sink is planning the event, and her events are always amazing. We will be joining with District 5680, so there will be even more Rotarians at this event. Here is the link to sign up, and I hope to see you there. And if you need a little help covering the registration fee, there are a few $50 scholarships left; just message Mark Rose.
It has been too long since we had a new member orientation. This is a great chance to learn a little more about Rotary and a great chance to get to know your fellow Rotarians. Whether you have been in Rotary for 2 days, 2 months, 2 years, or 2 decades, we want you to join us.
Sunday, November 8th at Mark Rose's house, 8778 S Kelliann Way, Manhattan, KS. 4:00
We will have drinks, snacks, knowledge, and fellowship. Let Mark or Michelle know if you can make it.
Happy Birthday this month to:
